Cistus is a plant which has ever-green leaves. Length of the leaves may differ for 2 to 8 cm. Colors of the flowers are white, purple, dark pink and dark red. In Turkey its possible to find the ones with pink colored flowers (cistus creticus and cistus parvifolius) and the ones with white colored flowers (cistus salvifolius, cistus laurifolius and cistus monspeliensis)
